The University Art Gallery is pleased to present In Process, a group exhibition of selected works by Master of Fine Arts students. Curated by Kelly Lindner, Director of the University Art Gallery, the exhibition showcases the diverse practices of nine artists working towards their graduate degrees. Highlighting various themes including nature, artistic intervention, popular culture, and social environments, the exhibition is arranged as a conversation. Works commingle, offering points of exchange and debate through the curatorial process. Marianna Chambard’s road trip inspired photographs of the expansive American landscape offer a counterpoint to Robert Curl’s photo-intaglio prints of landscape sites imprinted by human intervention. Uta Pfrengle and Tonantzin Esquivel engage in a lively dialogue about agricultural labor and production using plant life and produce, where work by Malinda Blank and Garrick Hargrove shares a moment characterized by loneliness and friendship. Come join the conversation.
