No body is perfect

This is an ongoing series of body vessles. Making these is connected to my research on bodypositivity and readings by authors like Naomi Wolf and Megan Jane Crabbe. In making the bodies, they have changed the way I percieve myself and others. It has led to a different approach towards bodyshapes and the judgement that usually comes with it. Instead of judgement I have found love, joy and appreciation for bodies in the making of these. They vessles are partially modeled after friend's and family's bodyshapes as well as my own, including all genders and age groups.

They will be presented in a way so people will be able to pick them up and engage with them, sharing the intimacy I felt in the process of making them. In doing so I hope that a spark of appreciation and admiration for how truely amazing every body is will fuel the fire of bodypositive power.
